From Tragedy to Triumph: The Untold Story of Baby Silas

This baby was brought into the orphanage on 12th April, 2024 by his father who is a missionary at a village in the Bwari Area council of FCT. After an attack on the village by bandits, his mother went into forced labour and there was no nearby hospital to take her and before they knew it she put to birth by 12 midnight. However due to excessive bleeding she passed on.

In order to safe the life of baby Silas, the father went to Bwari town the following day with the baby wrapped, the (father) was led by an ECWA pastor to the Noble homes orphanage kubwa. They arrived the orphanage at about 9:00pm the following day (almost 19hrs after)

The situation in which we received the baby was a case of between life and death. After taking him in, he was cleaned, fed and taken for medical check up. Though Baby Silas was very weak due to fatigue, but God saved his life and today he is 3 months old.
