THE NOBLE HOMES ORPHANAGE PROFILE
The Noble Homes Orphanage was established on Monday 17th April 2017. It was established under the auspices of the Noble Homes Widows/Women Ministry a faith-based non Governmental interdenominational charity organization. The orphanage has been registered with Government (FCT Social development secretariat) in line with established procedures. At the moment there are thirteen (13) children whose age range is between four and thirteen years.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- Care safety and love to the orphans
- Education by creating an environment that will positively affect the Orphaned less privileged and abandoned children to access education’ welfare and skill development.
- Moral and spiritual virtues by teaching and training to grow responsibly
OUR PROGRAMS
In order to transform the children and balance their immediate deficiencies, a special make-up home lesson plan was drawn from the onset, to provide instructions on foundational issues such as alphabets (ABC…), and numbers (123). Also, simple grammatical expressions, pronunciations, personality development, moral and spiritual instructions, sanitation/health, Habits, conduct, etc are taught. After picking up, they were later enrolled in the conventional school system and they are picking up well.
They are also taught skill acquisition at home at weekends. Examples of skills taught include:
Tailoring
Bead making
Plaiting
Baking
